Volunteer with Alsager Scout Group

Adults in Scouting are from all walks of life. The one thing they share is the enjoyment of helping young people reach their full potential.

Whatever your gender, age, abilities and skills there are many ways in which you can give your time to help in Scouting.

Volunteering in Scouting is fun and rewarding. You will have the chance to learn new skills, rediscover adventure, make new friends, experience something different and the opportunity to challenge yourself.

There are a number of benefits you can gain from volunteering. Spending time with your child, learning new skills and contributing to your local community are just a few of the reasons why our Current Leaders choose to spend some of their time in Scouting.

As long as you are over 18 years of age, you can help out as an adult volunteer in Scouting. There is no upper age limit for adult volunteers. Whether you can help on a regular or occasional basis we would be pleased to hear from anyone who may be interested in joining our team and within today’s busy lifestyle we are flexible to fit with whatever commitment you can offer. Simply let us know your availability and how you would like to help and we will match this to a role within our group.

No previous experience is needed as full training will be given and there is always plenty of help and support from existing leaders.
