On Tuesday 10th December from 7pm we’ll be hosting our fundraising Christmas Fair down at the Scout Hall! It’s set to be a fantastic evening with only a £1 entry fee (adults pay – kids come free)
Whether you like food, fun or comedy – we’ve got all three! With mini performances from some of our Cubs, to a range of Christmas snacks (and gifts) and a whole host of game stalls for you and the kids to enjoy: Teddy Tombola, Rudolph’s Carrot, Tombola, Craft Making Stall, Biscuit Decorating, Raffle, Crossbows, Keyring and Bracelet Making, Splat the Rat, Operate on Daisy the Cow, Balloon Room, Guess Whats in the Box, Hook a Pooh, Cake Stall, Tea and Coffee, Sweet Stall, Key in a Box, Plus a Production from Sioux Cubs.
In July 2020 we’re taking over 20 of our young people on a once in a lifetime trip to the World Scout Centre in Kandersteg, Swtizerland. For quite a few scouts this will be their first time travelling abroad, and it will be a fantastic opportunity for them to engage in other cultures. However – in order to keep this trip as ‘low-cost’ as possible we’re trying to raise several thousands of pounds to pay for all the young people to be able to take part in the amazing range of excursions, trips and adventurous activities we have planned.
This Christmas Fair is yet another of our fantastic fundraisers for the Switzerland 2020 trip.
