Throughout 2020 most activities of the Scouts have been either stopped entirely, or severely curtailed, this means most groups have not charged any subscriptions, and have not been able to conduct usual fundraising activities.
The effect of this has been to put some groups in dire financial positions. (in areas that most need youth organisations)
In an effort to help raise funds for use, The Scouts Association is organising a virtual hike around the world.
Alsager Scout Group is fielding a team, and we’d be extremely great full if you would be able to sponsor the young people in their activities.
We reckon we can carry the team across England, possibly the whole of Europe!
